Proposals must be submitted through the online application form before 31 July 2009.
Proposals should provide concrete and detailed information about the
proposed project so that it can be properly assessed by the Selection
Committee. Please read carefully the proposed structure for grant proposals.
The Secretariat recomends that when planning your application read
carefully the application guide and a short list of tips for a successful submission.

questions at the FAQ section of this site.
If
you have problems accessing the online application form or other
information please contact the Secretariat at info@isif.asia. All
required information must be included with the application. No
additional information received by other means will be examined by the
Selection Committee.
All required information must be include in a file developed by the applicants, using the template provided and through the online application form. The template provided have different sections which will allow the applicants to provide:
- Application summary
- Contact information
- Organization profile
- Project information
- Project timeline
- Profiles of team members
- Budget
- Annexes, such as: 1) copy of the document or certificate of incorporation of the
organisation, if the applicant is not a government body; 2) letters of recommendation, if the organization is not legally registered; letters confirming any additional funding commitments.
When a proposal is submitted the nominated email contacts will receive a
confirmation message. If you do not receive a confirmation message
please contact the Secretariat at
info@isif.asia before attempting
to submit your proposal again.
When submitting an application, the applicants acknowledge that any grant funding and, indeed, the application and evaluation process, is entirely at the discretion of the funding partners and they may choose to determine the process at any time up to the time of actual payment.
When submitting an application, the applicants are granting permission to the ISIF Secretariat and funding partners to use materials, submitted or developed during the application process, in publications or materials to promote ISIF. These materials can be project descriptions, photographs taken during the application process or at funded events, etc.
The Secretariat will contact you if any clarification is needed.
The maximum budget to be funded by this program is
AU 40,000.
Project proposals exceeding that amount must specify where the
additional funds will be obtained. The Steering Committee can request
applicants to modify their budgets to fund nominated specific
activities. The Steering Committee may decide to partially fund a
proposal.
The following expense categories are eligible for funding:
- Capital expenses
- Salaries
- Professional fees
- Research travel
- Support
Administrative
overheads are generally not funded, but in exceptional circumstances
may be funded as a maximum of 10% of the total budget. Please provide
detailed justification if you will include funds for administrative
overhead into your proposal.
The project proposal work plan must not exceed 12 months. All proposals must be submitted in their entirety before
31 July 2009.
No additional information can be filed after that date.
